What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information Demo collects when you open and use an account, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, username and password when you register. Your phone number, address and date of birth if you add them. If you verify your identity, the documents and photos you upload. The details of anyone you send money to.

Information we record as you use your account. Your accounts, balances and transactions, and the savings, deposits, loans, cards and investments you hold. Support messages. Sign-in times and the device and IP address a sign-in came from, so you and we can spot access you did not authorise.

Why we use it

To open and run your account and carry out what you ask us to do. To verify your identity and keep your account secure. To prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations. To send you notices about your account. You can turn off activity emails in Settings; security emails always go out.

Who we share it with

We share information only where we need to: with the providers that help us run the service (for example email delivery), with the people you send money to (they see your name), and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your information.

Cookies and other services

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. If you arrive through a friend's referral link, we keep their code in a cookie for up to 30 days so they can be credited when you sign up. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your own browser.

Our pages load fonts and some of their code from outside providers, which see your IP address when they send them. If you choose a language other than English, the page is translated by Google, which receives the page's text to do so.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep records of transactions.

Your choices

You can see and update most of your details in Settings. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account through our contact page.

Changes to this policy

We will tell you before a significant change takes effect.
